Coagulants

As the year-round demand for clean drinking water increases, water treatment plants must use chemical products which are effective in all weather conditions. For the primary treatment of drinking water, a coagulant is the most important part. Many coagulants are designed to only work in warm weather conditions well above 50°F. But as temperatures drop below 40°F and turbidity drops, most coagulants lack the ability to react and remove impurities. This is called “cold-clear” conditions. Aulick has a full line of coagulants that can meet the needs of water treatment facilities in warm months as well as the difficult “cold-clear” months.
